G4S Secures Samasung's Laptops

LogiTag's partner G4S (Checkpoint Security Systems Israel) installed Active RFID based system that secures laptops in Smasung's Israeli R&D center.
LogiTag Systems, Inc. announce an outstanding installation of the LogiTrack, an Active RFID based system, for protection against theft of laptops used in SAMSUNG's Israeli R&D center. The System was delivered by LogiTag's partner G4S (Checkpoint Security Systems Israel LTD), and marks the rollout of cooperation between the two companies. The LogiTrack platform incorporates unique features and application specific design which enables installing low-profile active tags on IT assets, including laptops, tablets, PCs, servers, projectors and others. The tags feature a unique, none-mechanical anti-tamper sensor that can detect any attempt to remove the tag from the asset. G4S Israel has delivered to the Israeli R&D center of SAMSUNG corporation a system that defends their laptops, as required by their strict security policy. SAMSUNG's Operational personnel are attaching and enroling tags into the system, while G4S installed the wireless network that detected laptop location and generates a local alarm. "We see an increased awareness for RFID based security solutions", said Shlomi Avigdor, LogiTag's sales director. "Security officers nowadays understand that RFID, especially active RFID, can solve security issues they had problems to coop with in past years. Active RFID systems such as the LogiTrack can provide them with real-time location of assets, guards and even visitors. We are pleased to launch our partnership with G4S, a key player in the security industry, and certain that together we will continue to deliver innovative solutions to the market."
