LogiPlatform

LogiPlatform is a multilayer software, providing tailored solutions according to customer needs. Based on Microsoft .NET tools and SQL server, the LogiPlatform delivers a robust, reliable and high-performing software tool to answer the needs in RFID deployment. When used as the system's core, the LogiPlatform manages RFID devices and their data flow. It collects, reports and manages inventory and usage information in real-time giving operational areas complete visibility into the usage of high value medical devices and the state of fast-moving consumer stock .

Multi-Layered Architecture
Layer 1 - Communication (RFID Middleware)
| This layer handles the communication between the LogiPlatform server and the hardware devices and components (such as readers and multiplexers). Using a multi-protocol component, this layer can manage many different RFID hardware devices simultaneously. It deals with all inventories and read/write commands, and supports several types of biometric static and mobile readers, over standard TCP/IP, GPRS, WiFi and internet interfaces. | |||
Layer 2 - Database | ||
| This layer handles all transactions to and from the database such as retrieving data from RFID devices (Business Logic layer) and saving it to the database, retrieving rules and data from the Administration and Enrollment modules, and saving to the database, retrieving logged data from the Business Rules layer and saving to the database and retrieving data ready for the Reports module demanding field conditions. | |||
Layer 3 - Business Logic
| This layer receives and transmits data from and to the Reader Interface layer and from many different RFID devices. It integrates all data from the Reader Interface into one location and prepares it for use by the next layer. The data received from the reader’s interface layer can be tag detection, data read from a tag, certain error information from the devices, and more. It handles business rules set in the system, such as performing inventory of tags, reading data from tags, and writing data to tags, detecting predefined activities, or handling certain events. | |||
Layer 4 - Application | ||
The LogiPlatform Server enables the user to easily develop a custom-made application based on the LogiPlatform database and tables. The Application layer includes the following:
