Technology Overview
	Readers
	RFID readers are installed in strategic locations and in small numbers. They are capable of reading location tags from distances of up-to 30m, while serving as location beacons as well for near-by tags.
	Beacons
	An array of small devices deployed in a designated area. Each one has a unique area code for precise tag location. The beacon's resolution is 3-6m2, and their installation requires only connection to a power source. They are small enough to be covertly installed behind gypsum wall or inside ceiling spaces
	Tags
	Small devices utilizing the latest in active RFID technology. Tags identify their exact location using near-by location beacons and send this information, along with its unique identity, to the receivers. The LogiTrack System includes several types of tags, including general use ones for location and application specific tags.

	Scaleable Solution
	The LogiTrack System can begin as a small project to manage a specific application that is deemed a priority. The system can be expanded to manage additional applications based on hospital needs and resources. Unlike other systems that use a facility’s existing WiFi network, LogiTag’s 433Mhz wireless communication system is designed for asset tracking and can be initiated with minimal investment.
	No Affect On Network Traffic
	The LogiTrack system utilizes an independent wireless network so, unlike WiFi based solutions, it will not generate excessive radio interference that can cause congestion sufficient to disrupt or jam mission-critical application communications.
