LogiTrack's technology is "zone-based" Active-RFID, utilizing 2 radio frequencies:

Base-Stations generate up-to 4 unique RF zones (LF 125Khz) ranging from 1m to 12m distance from the antenna. The RF-Zone's range is determined by setting RF power in the base-station and choosing the appropriate antenna from the LogiTack catalogue..

A tag that enters the RF-zone is excited and transmits back over UHF band its identity as well as the unique identifier of the RF-zone it is at the moment.

The tag's transmission is received by the base-station, which then begin to communicate with the tag over the UHF band - allocation a new bandwidth, reading battery and sensors information, silencing the tag etc.

Information is sent from the Base-Station to the LogiTrack middleware over LAN or Wi-Fi interfaces. The Wi-Fi interface enables easy deployment with minimal infrastructure overhead.

Data is processed at the middleware and sent to the LogiTrack server and to any interfaced legacy/3rd party system
